Mr Dixon

With spring here and summer just around the corner I can't help but miss the old ice-cream van! Even though it was a little nippy in Huddersfield at Easter, that didn't keep the Dixon's van away from Manor Park Way! I resisted the urge to buy a 99 although I doubt that they actually cost 99p these days.

I remember running out of the house when I was little to the sound of the ice-cream van to buy Screwballs and Fabs and Apple cider lollies. I wonder if kids around Great Britain are still buying the same iced treats? What was your favourite ice-cream when you were little?

I love the ice cream van!

Fave flavor: chocolate, of course, some things never change. (Choccies all gone!)
